That being said, Modak has a long history of association with Lord Ganesha, the God of Beginnings. Tales suggest that Modak was Lord Ganesh’s favorite sweet.

We at Misree, paying tribute to Ganpati, have recreated this dome of happiness. Layering Dark chocolate, Milk, and White Chocolate in adequate proportions, we’ve come up with, what we like to call, ‘Mishti Modak’.
